GRYPHON MERLOT This wine has a deep colour with strong red purple hues. The bouquet is strong and complex due to the distinct floral and ripe fruit, but sweet French vanilla oak. It has a strong mid palate of rich floral notes and smoky vanilla French oak but with soft elegant length on the finish. The flavours are complex with a blend of florals, berries and oak, not over ripe and porty but shows typical Coonawarra spicy berry flavour.
